AVI-PA (Plasma Atomization) Equipment

Product Introduction

PA is a process to produce spherical powders from pure metal or alloy wire. The plasma jets are emitted by a number of coaxially arranged plasma generators to instantaneously heat, melt and break up by impact the wire material fed continuously in the axial direction. Then the droplets of the broken metal, having cooled and solidified in an argon atmosphere, become spherical metal powder. The production process takes place in an argon atmosphere and the molten wire has no contact with any solid surfaces, thus ensuring the high purity of the powder product.
